Back pain

Back pain is pain felt in the back. It may be classified as neck pain (cervical), middle back pain (thoracic), lower back pain (lumbar) or coccydynia (tailbone or sacral pain) based on the segment affected. The lumbar area is the most common area affected. It can be caused by various conditions that affect the muscles, ligaments, nerves, bones, or joints of the back.

Symptoms of back pain include:

Pain or discomfort may be felt anywhere along the spine, from the neck to the hips.

Pain may be sharp, dull, throbbing, or burning, and may radiate to other parts of the body, such as the legs or arms.

May cause muscle stiffness, limited mobility, or muscle spasms.

Numbness, tingling, or weakness in the affected area.

Severe cases of back pain may also lead to difficulty standing or walking, loss of bladder or bowel control, or other serious complications.

Treatment options for back pain include:

Rest: Avoid activities that exacerbate the condition and get enough sleep. Proper support while sleeping or sitting can also be helpful. It is recommended to gradually return to normal activities after rest.

Medications: nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), muscle relaxants, and opioids may be prescribed in severe cases.

Chiropractic care: Stimulate the spine and its surrounding tissues through massage and massage techniques to relieve pain.

Acupuncture: Insert needles into the skin at specific points and stimulate the body to speed up the healing process.

Physical therapy: Involve exercises and manual therapy techniques to reduce pain and improve function.

Class 4 LASER THERAPY: It is a type of medical treatment that uses high-powered lasers to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation and promote tissue healing. It penetrates deeper into the body tissues than other classes of lasers and can be used to treat various conditions such as musculoskeletal injuries, arthritis, and neuropathic pain.

Class 4 LASER THERAPY for back pain involves the delivery of high-power light energy to the affected area, which penetrates deep into the tissue. This energy stimulates cellular metabolism, increases blood flow, and triggers a natural healing response. The therapy also reduces inflammation and swelling, improves nerve function, and enhances muscle relaxation, leading to pain relief from back pain and improved mobility.
